No. 1 Connecticut (29-0) became only the sixth Division I women’s basketball team to go through a regular season undefeated as it captured a record fourth Big East title with an 85-49 victory over Seton Hall (23-8) at South Orange, N.J.

At Chattanooga, Tenn., Sheri Sam and Na’Sheema Hillmon each scored 14 and No. 9 Vanderbilt (26-6) beat No. 2 Tennessee (29-2) 67-61 for the Southeastern Conference championship.

At Salina, Kan., Raegan Scott scored 14 points to lead third-ranked Colorado (27-2) to a 61-45 victory over No. 22 Kansas (20-10) for the Big Eight tournament championship and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

At Indianapolis, Missy Masley scored 20 as seventh-ranked Penn State (25-4) beat Ohio State (17-13) 68-63 to win the Big Ten women’s tournament.
