Man Arrested On Drug Charges After Speeding Stop

A Kent, Wash., man was arrested on drug charges Friday afternoon after being pulled over for speeding.

Christopher Andersen, 18, was booked into Spokane County Jail on two counts of distributing crack cocaine and conspiracy to deliver.

Andersen had been staying at a motel on South Russell and was pulled over on Sunset near Government Way, police spokesman Dick Cottam said.

Undercover police officers bought crack cocaine from Andersen twice in March, Cottam said. Police said Andersen claimed to be a gang member from the West Side.
