Sinn Fein Leader Arrives In The U.S.

The leader of the IRA-allied Sinn Fein party arrived Saturday in the United States for a fund-raising trip that will include a meeting with President Clinton on St. Patrick’s Day.

British authorities have criticized Clinton’s decision to meet with Gerry Adams and to allow him to raise money for Sinn Fein in the United States.

He is scheduled to meet with Clinton on Friday - St. Patrick’s Day.
