Scout Killed In Fall While Rock Climbing

A Boy Scout fell 100 feet to his death from a rocky ledge, authorities said.

Sean Caldwell, 14, was killed Saturday during a troop rockclimbing outing on Mount Cheaha in northeastern Alabama. The troop was from Fayetteville, Ga.

The teenager was on a ledge waiting his turn to rappel down the rock face when he fell, according to police.
