U.S. Collecting Gold

The United States won three more swimming gold medals at the Pan American Games. That gave the Americans six in 10 events, with Canada owning three golds and Brazil one.

Cristina Teuscher of New Rochelle, N.Y., won her second gold of the Games by capturing the 200-meter freestyle, while 25-year-old Mark Henderson won the 100 butterfly.
