NEW FACES:

Ken Hustad has been named manager of Bonneville Power Administration’s Northeast District Sales and Customer Service office in Spokane. He manages a staff of six account executives and five technical and clerical personnel in Spokane and Missoula. Hustad is formerly from San Francisco where he served as wholesale gas marketing manager for Pacific Gas & Electric.

William L. Matteucci has joined Tomlinson Commercial Inc., as a commercial specialist. Matteucci has been involved in the retail drug industry for the past 35 years and was president and CEO of Drug Fair Northwest until it was sold last year.

Lakshmi Singh has joined the staff of Spokane Public Radio as a reporter and news announcer. Her duties will include reporting for Inland Journal and other programs and being local host for All Things Considered. Singh formerly worked for Voice of America’s English to Africa service in Washington, D.C.

Johnson Matthey has named Stephen Ward as operations director-Europe. Ward will be responsible for the European manufacturing facilities based at Royston and the special earth production unit in Widnes, United Kingdom, in addition to the sales and distribution network centered in Paris.

Karen Krei has been named development director for the Spokane Guilds’ School and Neuromuscular Center. She most recently worked as an account executive supervising the growth of Clinique Labs Inc. in 24 northwest Nordstrom stores. Krei will focus on creating and implementing a joint marketing plan to take the school forward over the next decade.

Exploration Products Inc. has appointed Gary Kreitz regional sales and marketing director for Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. His responsibilities include servicing existing customers in the oil and gas and environmental market, locating new customers and familiarizing potential clients with Exploration’s services and supplies.

Charles McKain has been named vice-president for Phoenix Water Systems Inc. Dr. Dan Cutler, B.J. Adams, David Mize, and Raymond Smith were named to the board of directors along with Dr. Donald Condon, board chairman.

Karen Dillon, Gary Finn, and Judy Jessup have associated with Century 21 Premier Service at 6029 N. Division.

Ted Marlett has joined Windermere’s Spokane-North Wall Office as a sales associate. Marlett, who served in the Navy for 20 years, earned a bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University.

KREM 2 has hired Sibylla Lee as a local sales assistant. Lee attended the University of Colorado and worked as a marketing sales assistant for the Clarion Harvest House Hotel in Boulder, Colo.

The March of Dimes Foundation has named Peggy Scott its division director. Scott, who was formerly market manager for Cellular One, will be responsible for six counties in Eastern Washington.

Lake Forest Interior Design Center in Coeur d’Alene has added the following people to its staff:

Pam Campbell is an interior designer. Campbell, who has 16 years of experience in the field, specializes in window treatments, wall coverings and floor coverings.

Harold Lindsey is an outside sales representative for carpet and other floorcoverings. Lindsey specializes in new construction and commercial contracts and has been in the industry for 15 years.

Trico Economic Development has named Lonnie Tedder business development specialist. Tedder was formerly employed part-time at Trico. Tedder’s responsibilities will include counseling for small businesses in the areas of marketing, management, record-keeping, business planning and time management. Patty Guglielmino has been named executive secretary and office manager. Guglielmino was formerly employed by a major advertising firm in New York City.

Roberta Paul has joined the Intercollegiate Center for Nursing Education as its native American recruitment and retention coordinator. Paul was previously a program director for the School, College, University Partnership (SCUP) and the American Indian Community Center.

MOVING UP:

West One Bank has promoted Robert Siddoway to vice president and commercial loan officer. Siddoway has been with the Bank since 1992. James Robb also has been promoted to vice president and commercial loan officer. Prior to joining West One, Robb was a retail and commercial banker in San Diego. Chris Dunford, customer service manager at West One, was promoted to assistant vice president. Dunford has been with the bank since 1993.

Lori Nelson was promoted to account manager at Wendt Advertising. Nelson will assist with the development and implementation of integrated marketing strategies.

Randy Teall has been named vice president and manager of U.S. Bank in the North Idaho District. Teall will oversee the operations of the bank’s commercial and retail operations in Northern Idaho from the Coeur d’Alene Branch, 301 N. Third. Teall has 22 years of experience in banking.

STARTING UP:

FMC Leasing Corp. has expanded into Spokane. Wayne Dodman and Patrick Ferry have been hired as territory managers for the Spokane area. FMC Leasing is a full-service equipment lessor and broker and arranges financing for all types of industrial, agricultural, medical, material handling and office and business equipment.

Associated Financial Services has opened a new branch at 13817 E. Sprague, Suite 7. The branch will offer a variety of consumer loans, including home equity and personal loans, as well as retail and home improvement financing. Terri Fitzpatrick was promoted to branch manager.

APPOINTED:

Roberta Greene, vice president of Empire Ford, has been appointed a member of the 1995 Defense Advisory Committee on Women in the Services(DACOWITS). The committee consists of prominent civilians throughout the United States who assist the Defense Department in recruiting and retaining women members of the armed forces.

Tim Herzog, a Realtor at Tomlinson/ North Idaho, has been appointed chairman of the Economic Development Committee for the Post Falls Chamber of Commerce.
