South Korean Official Stabbed In Taiwan

A South Korean official who said he was stabbed by an unknown attacker was hospitalized Saturday after being found bleeding in his car outside his home, police said.

Lee Soo-john, 37, who works for the Korean Mission, the unofficial South Korean embassy, was in stable condition at Cathay General Hospital after receiving 50 stitches on his neck and hands.

Police were investigating.
