Raiders Sign Cash

Compiled From Wire Services

Tight end Kerry Cash became the first unrestricted free agent from another team to sign a contract with the Los Angeles Raiders this year. No terms were announced.

Cash was a fifth-round draft choice by Indianapolis in 1991 after playing at Texas and appeared in 52 games, 48 of them starts, for the Colts the past four seasons.

The Miami Herald is reporting the Miami Dolphins plan to trade receiver Mark Ingram to the Green Bay Packers for a fourth-round draft pick.

Further negotiations between the teams include the possibility of the Dolphins sending a draft pick or tight end Keith Jackson - or both - to Green Bay for cornerback Terrell Buckley, a former Florida State player.

New Orleans defensive lineman Frank Warren, the only NFL player to successfully return from a drug suspension, announced his retirement after 13 years.
