Lewis And Clark Picks Princess

Jennifer Hunter, a senior at Lewis and Clark High School, was crowned the school’s Lilac Festival princess Wednesday night.

Panelists from a board of Lilac directors chose the 17-year-old to represent Lewis and Clark in this year’s festival. Hunter is the daughter of Laraine and Jim Hunter of Spokane.

She is a National Honor Society student and varsity cheerleader, plays in the Blue Satin girl’s jazz ensemble and is a member of Rotary Club Leadership. She’s also involved in the drama club and the Pacific Theaters Box ‘N Hat Players.

She plans to attend the University of Montana and study English and theater arts.
