Four Bullets Fired Into North Side Home

From Staff And Wire Reports

Four bullets were fired into a house in the 2000 block of West Carlisle early Sunday, but nobody was hurt, police said.

The two residents told Spokane police they heard several shots after 1 a.m.

One said the shots appeared to come from the alley behind the building, where police found several shell casings.

The house had four bullet entry holes and three exit holes, police spokesman Dick Cottam said. One bullet might be stuck in a wall, he said. Another bullet lodged in a cedar fence nearby.

The shooter appeared to be on foot, police said.
