Nine Mile Falls Parents Asked To Meet, Rate School Candidates

From Staff And Wire Reports

Residents of the Nine Mile Falls School District are invited to meet one of five candidates for superintendent tonight.

Steve Chestnut, now superintendent in Dayton, Wash., will be interviewed at 8 p.m. tonight at Lakeside High School.

District residents will be given cards on which to write their impressions of the candidate and will be asked to give those remarks to school officials at the end of the meetings.

The district began a search in November for a new superintendent. Cynthia Clauson has served as interim superintendent since last summer.

Five finalists, selected by the school board, were identified last week.
