Another Bomb Hits Mediterranean Island

A bomb exploded at a city hall in southern Corsica before dawn Monday, two days after 16 bombings claimed by nationalists on the French Mediterranean island.

No injuries were reported, but the blast heavily damaged the building in Zonza. There was no claim of responsibility.

Early Saturday, 16 small bombs exploded at banks and government treasury offices, causing damage but no injuries.
