Trustee Candidates To Appear At Forum

Five candidates vying for two open seats on the Coeur d’Alene school board will answer questions during a public forum Wednesday evening.

Incumbent Vern Newby in Zone 2 is being challenged by Larry Rook and Pamela Fink. Zone 3 incumbent Eli Ross is being challenged by the board’s former chairman Tim Olson.

The League of Women Voters and the Coeur d’Alene PTO Alliance are sponsoring the forum.

The event is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Kootenai Room of North Idaho College’s Student Union Building.
