Credit Union In Tidyman’s Robbed

From Staff Reports

A robber who didn’t say a word escaped with cash from a north Spokane credit union Tuesday.

Police said the man walked into the Global Federal Credit Union inside Tidyman’s at Francis and Cedar shortly after 6 p.m. He handed a note to the teller and was given an unknown amount of cash.

Police refused to say what was written in the note.

The robber was white, in his late 20s, with sandy blond hair that fell below his ears. He wore a gray and red hooded sweat shirt and jeans and fled north on a bicycle, police said.
