Local Students Named To Cwu’s Honor Roll

The following Central Washington University students have qualified for the 1995 winter quarter honor roll. They are:

Cheney: Heather Fuller, Stacie Kudamatsu, Jeff Corlett and John Sherman.

Colfax: Tana Crawford.

Colville: Kristen Johanson, Patrick Stewart, Leslie Stewart, William Danekas, Kevin Kinnan 4.0 and Rachel Armes.

Coulee City: Dawn Sanderlin.

Coulee Dam: Shane Moore.

Fairchild AFB: Theodore Unzicker, 4.0.

Grand Coulee: Charles Short, 4.0.

Greenacres: Amy Rickert.

Kettle Falls: William Palmer, Gina Day and Daro Palmer, 4.0.

Liberty Lake: Merideth Burch, 4.0.

Loon Lake: Laurie Low.

Pasco: Ron Jablonski, Rebecca Walsh, Kerri Ruble, Kimberly Whitemarsh, Troy Sommerville, Duane Crum, Andre Wren and Nancy Swanda, 4.0.

Pullman: Victoria DiMaggio.

Spokane: Stanley Gentry, John McMurtery, Tracy Baldyga, Nicole Redl, Shane Trout, Carrie Younglund, Bret Rutter, Richard Thill and Ryan Lewis.

St. John: Amanda Seward.

Valleyford: Melissa Hansen.

Wilbur: Benjamin Rizor, Billie Bandy and Debra Bodeau.

Mrs. Michael T. Shiflett, Otis Orchards, and regent of Jonas Babacock Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, represented her chapter recently at the 104th Continental Congress of the National Society DAR in Washington, D.C. She and Mrs. Al Daniels, Cheney, were recently elected as delegates to the Congress. The women also represented their chapter at the 94th Washington State DAR State Conference in Seattle.

Kimberly Larson, Deer Park, and Christine Lentz, Clayton, Wash., both seniors at Deer Park High School, will each receive an annual scholarship award of $300 from Chapter AW PEO, a women’s philanthropic and education organization. Larson plans to study invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular technology at Spokane Community College. Lentz plans to begin her studies toward becoming a physical therapist at Spokane Falls Community College.

First alternate is Autumn Swinyard, who plans to attend Moody Northwest of Spokane, an extension of Moody Bible Institute of Chicago. Second alternate is Jennifer Magart, who plans to attend Whitworth College to major in elementary education.
