Heavyweight Bruce Baumgartner won a record 16th national title in the U.S. Open Freestyle and Greco-Roman Wrestling Championships.

Baumgartner, a two-time Olympic gold medalist, beat Tom Erikson of Stillwater, Okla., 3-0 in the title match.

Iain Fraser had one goal and one assist as Canada defeated the Czech Republic 4-1 to capture the bronze medal at the World Hockey Championships.
