Bus Rolls Off Ferry; 6 Die

Associated Press

At least six people drowned Monday night when the public bus they were in rolled off a ferry.

Two women managed to climb out of the bus after it sank into a fiord, the Norwegian News Agency NTB said.

In addition to the six confirmed dead, police suspected one person was missing.

The incident occured near the city of Bergen, 170 miles west of Oslo.

The bus began to roll and crashed through a restraint when the ferry reduced speed some 100 yards from the dock.
