Eagles Land A Tight End From All-State B Ranks

Nick Andrew, a Class B All-State football and basketball player at Toutle Lake High School, has accepted a scholarship to attend Eastern Washington University and play football next fall.

Andrew, 6-foot-4, 215-pounds, was recruited as a tight end, said Eagles coach Mike Kramer.

The Eagles have two tight ends - Jesse Hardt from Odessa and Tim Hunsaker from Almira/CouleeHartline - who, like Andrew, were standouts in football and basketball at Class B schools. A third Eagles tight end from a Class B school, Steve Mattson from Naselle, Wash., has been moved to defensive end.

Andrew led Toutle Lake to the championship game in both the State B football and basketball tournaments. In both games, Toutle Lake lost to Dayton.
