Letter Carriers Will Collect Food Saturday

Letter carriers throughout Kootenai County will collect food for area food banks Saturday as they deliver the mail.

Last year, mailmen and women gathered more than 15,000 pounds of food and delivered it to food banks in Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, Hayden, Bayview, Spirit Lake and Athol.

To contribute, leave nonperishable food in a bag on your mailbox.
