The Slice Watch Out, It’s A Free-For-All At Most Area Garage Sales

Slice answers: We liked the regional pride in Jeanne Lindeen’s suggestion for an 11th commandment aimed specifically at the Inland Northwest: “Thou shalt not gloat.”

Linda Torretta offered “Thou shalt not call any of the lakes by name.”

Rick Barclay, Nancy Armstrong and several others suggested commandments addressing various offenses of Spokane area drivers.

Call (800) 334-4843: If you believe that it is time Betty Rubble got to be one of the Flintstones Vitamins.

Press release of the week: “Nude recreation is one of the fastest growing segments of the tourism industry in the 90s, according to the American Association for Nude Recreation.”

Yes, but is it art: If you have some beads, board game parts, colorful wire or old costume jewelry that you’re thinking of tossing, wait. The Spokane Art School can use that stuff. Call 328-0900 for details.
