Shortstop Goes Deep

Wisconsin-Oshkosh shortstop Tim Jorgensen hit six home runs and drove in 16 runs in a doubleheader sweep of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in the Wisconsin State University Conference best-of-3 championship series.

Jorgensen, the 1994 NCAA Division III player of the year, had two grand slams and he came up with a rare home run cycle in the second game, hitting a solo shot, a two-run homer, a three-run homer and a grand slam.
