Man Admits Reservation Killing

From Staff And Wire Reports

A 22-year-old Neah Bay man pleaded guilty Tuesday in the death of a man who was shot and his body burned on the Makah Indian reservation.

Wambidee-zi Adams pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree murder in federal court. Sentencing was set for Aug. 11, said FBI Agent Ellen Glasser in Tacoma.

Adams and another man were accused of killing 22-year-old Luis Carillo last March in Neah Bay in a dispute over drugs, Glasser said.

The FBI had jurisdiction over the case since the murder occurred on an Indian reservation.
