Roy C. and Georgie (Loucks) VanderDoes, Spokane, recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary with a dinner hosted by their daughter and son-in-law, Dee and Jim Obert, Paradise Prairie.

Also hosting the celebration were their other daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Ron Payton, and Fay and Ralph Virene, all of Spokane, and their daughter, Kari Harris, Centerville, Va.

Married May 5, 1940, in Spokane, the couple have 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
