Two Injured When Harley Veers Off Road

From Staff And Wire Reports

A 55-year-old Canadian man and 22-year-old Bonners Ferry woman were reported in fair condition after a motorcycle crash Sunday night.

Robert J. Morrish, Cranbrook, British Columbia, and Celena R. Tompkins were riding double on a stretch of state Highway 1 about 18 miles north of Bonners Ferry.

Morrish veered off the road and the 1980 Harley-Davidson rolled several times, according to the Idaho State Police.

The two were not wearing helmets or protective leather. They were taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.

Authorities cited Morrish for driving under the influence.
