ASU has just about wrapped up a record third straight title with a total of 2-over 866, 14 shots ahead of San Jose.
Stensrud enters today’s closing round with a total of 209, five strokes ahead of U.S. Amateur champion Wendy Ward.
University of Washington’s Emily Martin and San Jose’s Nicole Materne, Spokane high school grads, shot 78 and 84, respectively, for totals of 242 and 246.
