Coeur d’Alene Police

Michael Zumwalt reported Friday the $658 theft of Matco brand tools in carrying cases and $150 damage to his vehicle parked at Taco Bell, 217 W. Appleway.

Carroll Yong, owner of Yong’s Korean Karate, 1124 Sherman Ave., reported Thursday the $200 theft of two samurai swords and $600 in damage to a window.

Karen Davisson reported Thursday $2,500 damage to her vehicle when she was forced off the road while driving up Stanley Hill Road.

John Booth, owner of Wicked Widget Works, 1013 Coeur d’Alene Ave., reported Thursday the $3,500 theft of a Hyper-Therm plasma arc cutter.

Larry Meeter reported Thursday the $400 theft of a boat parked in the 800 block of Harrison Ave.

Kootenai County Sheriff

James Potestio, foreman for Burlington Northern Railroad, reported Thursday the $9,291 theft of hand and power tools, and cleaning equipment and $605 damage to vehicle windows at a site at First St. and Hill, Athol.

Post Falls Police

Russel Umphrey reported Saturday the $2,112 theft of various compact discs, a coin collection and silver coins from a residence in the 2400 block of West Seltice Way.

Dennis Van Dyke reported Monday $300 damage to a customer service counter at General Rental, 3120 E. Seltice Way.

Donna Anderson reported Tuesday $400 damage to a rental residence in the 200 block of West 19th Avenue.

Sean Buck reported Wednesday the $300 theft of a mountain bike from New Visions School, 203 W. Mullan Avenue.
