Man Found Shot To Death In East Central Neighborhood

From Staff Reports

A man was shot to death and left in a residential neighborhood in East Central Spokane on Saturday night.

The man lay in front of a house at 1511 E. Second just before 11 p.m. Neighbors said they heard two gunshots, said Spokane Police Sgt. Dave McGovern.

Police were gathering witnesses late Saturday in hopes of finding a suspect.

“We kind of like put the net over everybody and hope we have the big fish,” McGovern said.

The man was shot in the chest area, McGovern said. Police did not know the man’s name, how many times he was shot or what type of gun was used.

No gun has been found.
