Tacoma Woman Named Mrs. Washington 1995

Jane Thomas, a motivational speaker from Tacoma, was crowned Mrs. Washington 1995 on Saturday.

Thomas will travel to Tyler, Texas in August to compete for the title of Mrs. USA International.

Angela Monson, who was Mrs. Washington 1993, and Kevin Hagen - known best for his role as Doc Baker on the “Little House on the Prairie” television series - provided entertainment for the pageant held at The Met.

Robin Peterson, a medical technologist from Spokane, was first runnerup. Peterson also won the Sales Associate Award. Cari Bickley, a dance instructor from Spokane, was named second runner-up. Bickley also won the Mrs. Congeniality award. Third runner-up and winner of the Most Photogenic Award was Debbie Losse, an executive administrator from Upper Kititas County. Fourth runner-up honors went to Kim Koenig-Muenster, an attorney from Bainbridge Island.

Karlese Prince, a seamstress and designer from Kent, won the Physical Fitness Award. The Community Service Award went to Lisa Anderson, a beauty consultant from Spokane.
