Driver Stretches Lead
World champion Michael Schumacher’s pit-lane strategy paved the way for his second straight easy victory at the Monaco Grand Prix and increased his lead in the 1995 driver’s standings.
Schumacher’s Benetton-Renault was 34 seconds ahead of Damon Hill, in a Williams-Renault, at the finish, most of the time gained in having one pit stop compared to Hill’s two.
