Horse Continues Winning

Two-time Eclipse Award winner Paseana, an 8-year-old mare who’s showing few signs of her age, scored a convincing two-length victory in the $108,300 Hawthorne Handicap.

Ridden by Chris McCarron, Paseana moved a step closer to becoming North America’s career money-winning filly or mare. The Hawthorne win was worth $63,300 to owner Sidney H. Craig and gave Paseana $3,133,703 in career earnings, $130,133 behind the record.
