School Celebrates Birthday

Alumni and former staff of Winton Elementary School are invited to celebrate the school’s 70th birthday today.

Students will take visitors on a tour of the brick school from 9 to almost 10 a.m. At 10 a.m., the school will hold an assembly with skits and music.

Among the former staff members will be state schools superintendent Anne Fox, who used to serve as principal of Winton. Cake will be served at a reception following the assembly. , DataTimes
