Todd Quiring reported Wednesday the $300 theft of speakers from his car while it was parked at the Coeur d’Alene High School parking lot, 5530 Fourth St.

Larry Williams reported Thursday $2,500 damage to the paint of his car while it was parked at his home on the 2800 block of Howard St.

Kootenai County sheriff

Robert Hollingsworth, Coeur d’Alene, reported Thursday the $4,922 theft of timber from his property on the 12700 block of Frontage Road.

Richard Powell, St. Maries, reported Thursday the $820 theft of a chainsaw from a logging site on Lofts Bay Road.

Diane Bies, employee of J.B. Heating, reported Thursday the $1,000 theft of a company truck from her home on the 1300 block of Hanley Ave.

Bonner County sheriff

Stephen Higgins, Clark Fork, reported Wednesday the $364 theft of a .357 Taurus, checkbook and wallet, gun case and hunting knife from a vehicle.
