Richard and Phyllis Ziemer, Davenport, recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a reception at Zion Lutheran Church in Davenport.

Hosts for the event were their children and spouses: Daryl and Jan Ziemer, Davenport; and Brian and Bobbi Ziemer, Cheney.

Married Nov. 14, 1935, in Ritzville, Wash., the Ziemers have six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
