Drugs Confiscated During Two Raids

From Staff And Wire Reports

The Shoshone County Drug Task Force confiscated more than a pound of marijuana and what they believe is 100 grams of methamphetamine from a Pinehurst home Sunday night.

It was the second drug bust the task force made Sunday, said Sgt. Steve Berg, assistant task force coordinator.

At about 7:40 p.m. officers served a search warrant at Mark Harry’s home at 10 Lewiston Avenue in Pinehurst.

Investigators found marijuana, methamphetamine and hallucinogenic mushrooms, Berg said. They also discovered drug trafficking equipment and cash.

Police arrested the two people staying at the home - Harry, 38, and Diana Jean Moss, 28 - on drug possession charges.

Berg said he believes drugs were being sold at the house.

A drug bust earlier in the day helped lead to the Sunday evening bust, he said. Two men were arrested at about 10:38 a.m. at a Kellogg home. Police found methamphetamine, scales and plastic baggies.

He said the people who were arrested in both cases know each other well.
