Anna P. Anderson Spokane

Anna P. (Molden) Anderson, Spokane, is 100 years old today. Born Nov. 10, 1895, in Trondheim, Norway, she has lived in Spokane for the past four years at Royal Park Cark Center.

She married Edwin L. Anderson in 1920. He died in 1972.

They were the parents of three children, Roland V. Anderson, Spokane; and two sons who have died: Alfild P. Williams and Arnold L. Anderson.

She has 18 grandchildren, including one great-great-grandchild.

Mrs. Anderson worked as a cook for the Snoqualmie Valley School District during World War II.

When asked to what she attributes her longevity, she replied, “I don’t know, but I would like to continue doing it.”
