Colbert Takes Lead

Jim Colbert shot a 4-under-68 for a three-stroke lead after one round of the Senior Tour Championship in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Six were three strokes back, including defending champ Ray Floyd.

Fred Couples and Davis Love got the United States off to a strong start in the $1.5 million World Cup of Golf, the first major tournament held in China.

Davis and Love, bidding for a fourth straight title in the 32-country tournament in Shenzhen, led Sweden by three strokes.
