Associated Press

NHL

Brian Noonan scored twice and Dale Hawerchuk had a goal and two assists to lead the St. Louis Blues to a 3-2 win over the Winnipeg Jets on Friday night at St. Louis.

The win snapped a four-game losing streak for the Blues, who had been shut out in two of their last three contests. The Jets are 3-3 in their last six games.

Noonan’s second goal, at the 35-second mark of the second period, gave the Blues a 3-1 lead. Noonan fired a slap shot from the top of the slot after Hawerchuk passed the puck to him from the right faceoff circle. Noonan leads the Blues in game-winning goals with three.

Igor Korolev, who has 14 points in his last eight games, scored 54 seconds later to make the score 3-2.
