Smc Expands To Burns

SMC Corp. plans to expand its luxury motor coach manufacturing business to Burns.

The move will bring 75 to 100 jobs to the Eastern Oregon town.

SMC plans to buy the former Snow Mountain lumber mill and convert the 175,000-square-foot structure into a plant that manufactures laminated and composite components for the company’s Beaver and Safari motor coaches.
