To some, Yoko Ono will always be known as the woman who broke up the Beatles. Let it be now known that she is the woman who helped bring the surviving three back together.

The widow of the late John Lennon decided to let Lennon’s ex-bandmates use tapes of his previously unpublished song “Free As a Bird.”

“I just felt that the reunion itself would give some hope,” she says. “And in the big picture, that was much more important than a concern like, ‘This is a tape made in the privacy of his room, and should it go out in that fashion?”’

It wasn’t an easy decision. “part of me was feeling like somebody was going to tamper with John’s tape,” she said. “‘Tampering’ was the kind of word that came to my mind. And that was the part of me - the widow of John - that did not want anybody to touch it. And I overcame that.”

His pants can stay, because she’s wearing them now

Iolanda Quinn is finally trying to eject her estranged husband, Anthony Quinn, from her life. A judge ordered the 80-year-old actor to pay his wife of 30 years $3,500 a week plus expenses. She wants him out completely, along with his “underwear and socks.”

Seems somebody threw them a Belden Curve

Poet Maya Angelou loves “Jeopardy” but says she is boycotting it. “I see no black people on it,” she told the newsletter Dispatches. “I mean, I haven’t seen a black person for two years on ‘Jeopardy!”’ Producer George Vosburgh responded that he wants more minority contestants and is “disappointed” that so few apply.

How many ways can you design the word MOM?

Tattoo International magazine is disappointing creator Jonathan Shaw. As he says, “I found that most people who get tattooed really only buy the magazines to cut the pictures out so they can take it to their local scab vendor and have a handy set of references.”
