Body Of Marine Who Fell From Helicopter Found
Searchers found the body Friday of a Marine master sergeant who fell 300 feet from a helicopter during a night training exercise.
The body of Jack W. Hinesley, 36, of Farmersburg, Ind., was found after a search by more than 700 Marines, sailors and civilians, according to a statement from the Marine Corps Air Station New River at Jacksonville.
Authorities were unsure how Hinesley fell Thursday night from the CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter near the air station. The accident is under investigation.
