Rabin Assassin Still Remorseless

Speaking out for a second time since he assassinated Yitzhak Rabin, the confessed killer, Yigal Amir, asserted in court Monday that generations of Jews stood with him when he fired the fatal shots.

“Maybe physically I acted alone, but what pulled the trigger was not only my finger, but the finger of this whole nation, which for 2,000 years yearned for this land and dreamed of it,” Amir said during a hearing at the Tel Aviv Magistrate Court.

Judge Dan Arbel ordered Amir held until Nov. 30, to give police time to prepare an indictment.
