Adams Hits Free Throw For Victory

Fouled with no time left on the clock, Alicia Adams made the front end of a one-and-one Tuesday to lift St. Maries over visiting Potlatch 40-39 in a non-league girls basketball game.

St. Maries (1-2) commited a turnover with 6 seconds left but the Loggers (1-3) gave the ball right back 5 seconds later. Potlatch fouled Adams on an inbounds play.

Amanda Tams had 13 points and six rebounds for the winning Lumberjacks. Jenna Rauch scored 18 for Potlatch.
