Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf scored a season-high 39 points, including 8 of 11 from 3-point range, and rookie Antonio McDyess had two key overtime baskets as Denver claimed a 112-109 victory over Dallas Friday night.

Abdul-Rauf’s 3-pointer with 4:35 to go in the extra session gave Denver a 106-103 lead. McCloud made a 3-pointer on the other end to tie the score, but McDyess hit two straight baskets, the second with 2:58 to play, to give the Nuggets a 110-106 lead.
