Ewu Gallery Features Carved, Painted Sculptures

Pinnochio, an exhibition of carved and painted sculptures, is on exhibit at Eastern Washington University’s Gallery of Art.

Featured artists include Victor Moore of Pullman, Tim Fowler and Terry Turrell, both of Seattle, and several other Northwest and West Coast artists.

Pinnochio is curated by Sean Elwood, an independent Seattle curator.

The exhibition closes Dec. 8.

Auditions

Spokane Civic Theatre will hold auditions for its winter production of “Strangers On Earth” at 7 p.m., Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 4 and 5, in the Firth Chew Studio Theatre. Pat Owens is director.

There are openings for two women in their early to mid-20s; two men in their early to mid-20s (one who can play guitar), and one man in his early to mid-30s.

Auditioners will read from the script; copies are available at Civic’s box office for a $5 deposit.
