College Basketball Tonight:

NORTH IDAHO AT WENATCHEE

NIC (4-0) visits Wenatchee Valley (1-1) in non-conference men’s basketball at 7 p.m. at Smith Gym.

At a glance: Wenatchee Valley returns four starters from last year’s 16-13 team, led by 6-foot-5 Kai Knell and 6-3 point guard Brent Darnell.

“We expect to have a solid crew,” coach Greg Franz said. “With NIC, obviously you’re talking about a difference in athletes. We feel we have a good chance to play them tough because of the experience we’re bringing back.”

NIC’s only loss was to a pro team from Australia. The Cardinals have breezed to four wins.
