Air Pollution Reports

A total of 14 air quality complaints were reported to the Spokane County Air Pollution Control Authority between Nov. 20 and Nov. 26.

The most common complaint, open fire, was reported four times.

Nov. 20

Dust from rock crusher was reported at Highway 27 and Gibbs Road at 1:35 p.m.

Open fire was reported at 29000 N. Tudor Lane at 3:10 p.m.

Open fire was reported at 24th and Dishman-Mica Road at 3:35 p.m.

Smoke and odor from a solid fuel burning device, such as a wood stove or fireplace, was reported at 5923 W. Pine St. Marshall at 8:05 a.m.

Open fire was reported at 37000 block of Old Highway 95 at 8:16 a.m.

Dust from construction was reported at Westview, Colfax, Highway 2 at 10:45 a.m.

Nov. 21

Smoke from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 6010 S. Donora Drive at 10:30 a.m.

Odor from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 7200 block of North Hamilton at 10:45 a.m.

Nov. 22

Smoke in the air was reported at Spotted Road and Highway off Andrus Road at 1:10 p.m.

Smoke in the air was reported at 14700 block of North Lowe Road at 1:55 p.m.

Smoke from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 1308 N. Sherwood at 10:21 a.m.

Nov. 25

Open fire was reported at Pierce Court at 1 p.m.

Nov. 26

Smoke and odor from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 31st and Myrtle at 1:45 p.m.

Smoke and odor from a solid fuel burning device was reported at Augusta and Hamilton at 6:21 p.m.
