Lakeside Wins, Moves Into Tie For First Place In Northeast A

Tai Saito rushed for 138 yards Saturday as Lakeside (2-0, 2-2) beat visiting Newport 35-14 at Nine Mile and tied Chewelah for first place in the Northeast A.

Lakeside’s George Petticrew completed 12 of 23 for 196 yards and two interceptions. The Eagles rolled up 400 yards on offense .

Nate Carrara completed 16 of 40 for 217 yards for the Grizzlies (1-1, 1-3).
