Apple Fest Has More Than Fruit

The Green Bluff Apple Festival touts more than apples. It’s a tradition that can easily become an afternoon event. Various farms on Green Bluff offer cider, fresh pie, cinnamon rolls, crafts, wagon and pony rides, a double deck bus tour, country cooking and, of course, all of the appropriate fall produce.

The festival runs every weekend through October. Just head north of Spokane on the Newport Highway or Argonne and follow the signs to Green Bluff. Maps are available at any of the farms with numbered signs posted at the roadside.
