Idaho Loses League Match

Junior outside hitter Annette Hill had 15 kills Thursday as Weber State (2-3, 11-5) shocked Idaho, 15-9, 15-8, 12-15, 5-15, 15-11 in a Big Sky Conference volleyball match at Ogden, Utah.

The Vandals (3-1, 14-4) dropped a second consecutive match for the first time in 1 seasons.

“We played absolutely the worst volleyball we played this season in the first two games,” said Idaho coach Tom Hilbert. “We came around in games three and four and we played well in the rally game, but Weber State got some breaks and we couldn’t do anything about it.”

Tzvetelina Yanchulova had a match-high 26 kills and 13 digs for the Vandals. Jessica Moore added 10 kills, 13 digs and five blocks.
