Nic Symphony Starts New Season Sunday

From Staff Reports

Music lovers are invited to a celebration Sunday to kick off the 1995-96 season of the North Idaho College Symphony Orchestra.

The event, called “Curtain’s Going Up - Champagne Celebration,” will feature orchestra conductor Todd Snyder, performer Bobbi Kotula, a silent auction and Russian hors d’oeuvres.

The season’s first symphony concert will be a tribute to Russian composers. Kotula will entertain the champagne crowd with a musical story-telling performance as the Russian character Matrishka.
