Nic Symphony Starts New Season Sunday
Music lovers are invited to a celebration Sunday to kick off the 1995-96 season of the North Idaho College Symphony Orchestra.
The event, called “Curtain’s Going Up - Champagne Celebration,” will feature orchestra conductor Todd Snyder, performer Bobbi Kotula, a silent auction and Russian hors d’oeuvres.
The season’s first symphony concert will be a tribute to Russian composers. Kotula will entertain the champagne crowd with a musical story-telling performance as the Russian character Matrishka.
The Clark House will host the event from 4 to 7 p.m. Admission is $25 and includes a North Idaho Symphony Orchestra Guild membership. The Guild is part of the NIC Foundation. All Guild members receive a free pass to the four 1995-96 symphony concerts.
